APT3 is a China-based threat group that researchers have attributed to China's Ministry of State Security.[1][2] This group is responsible for the campaigns known as Operation Clandestine Fox, Operation Clandestine Wolf, and Operation Double Tap.[1][3] As of June 2015, the group appears to have shifted from targeting primarily US victims to primarily political organizations in Hong Kong.[4]
Enterprise ATT&CK only. Any Mobile or ICS rows on the same ATT&CK page are not carried.

APT3 enables the Remote Desktop Protocol for persistence.12 APT3 has also interacted with compromised systems to browse and copy files through RDP sessions.13
APT3 will copy files over to Windows Admin Shares (like ADMIN$) as part of lateral movement.14
Standing G0022
Reach is how much of ATT&CK this group touches. Coverage is how well defended each thing it does is, as a median per technique rather than a total — a total would just restate the reach. Each figure is ranked against all 176 ATT&CK groups only where that population actually spreads. Where most of the population shares one value, a percentile would rank the tie instead of the entity, so the raw value is shown and no rank is claimed.
Reach
81st percentile · 81% of 176 ATT&CK groups have this many Enterprise techniques or fewer.
66th percentile · 66% of 176 ATT&CK groups have this many tactics spanned or fewer.
67th percentile · 67% of 176 ATT&CK groups have this many tools and malware or fewer.
89% of the population shares a single value across only 4 distinct values, so a percentile here would rank the tie, not the entity.
Coverage
61st percentile · 61% of 176 ATT&CK groups have this many detection rules per technique or fewer.
Detection coverage G0022
1442 distinct rules cover the 44 techniques recorded for this group. The 1692 technique-to-rule mappings resolve to 1442 distinct rules, because one rule can cover several techniques. 1028 Sigma · 414 Splunk.
